DigitalPersona Pro Kiosk Delivers Fast, Secure and Convenient Computer Access

REDWOOD CITY, CA—Digital Persona, Inc., the leading provider of fingerprint-based authentication solutions, today announced DigitalPersona® Pro™ Kiosk™. This latest addition to DigitalPersona Pro Enterprise Software provides fast, secure and convenient access to shared computer environments, such as healthcare, retail point of sale and manufacturing lines, where multiple users share workstations running mission- and life-critical applications.

Secure Conscious, Fast-Paced Environments

Many enterprises and organizations are faced with fast-paced environments in which groups of users need rapid access to critical applications running on multiple computers. Access to these applications is time-consuming and security is often circumvented for the sake of convenience. Users will walk away from computers rather than logging off, leaving applications open with sensitive data exposed, or will share simple passwords, which are easily guessed.
